Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged, especially during the growing season. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry.

Reduce watering slightly in winter but do not allow the soil to dry out completely. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Prune to maintain shape and size, or to encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead, damaged, or leggy stems. This can be done at any time of year, but major pruning is best done in spring before new growth begins.

Propagate by stem cuttings. Take 10-15 cm cuttings from healthy stems in spring or summer. Remove lower leaves and insert the cut end into moist potting mix.

Keep humid and warm until roots form, typically within 4-6 weeks.

Repot every 2-3 years, or when the plant becomes root-bound. Choose a pot that is only slightly larger than the current one. Use a well-draining potting mix. Repot in spring before the active growing season begins.
